Lemmy on moving to LA, the 1916 album and, getting serious for a moment, the First World War.
The degrading photo above was taken in 1990 when a sun-tanned Lemmy had returned to London to promote the 1916 album after moving to LA. He was on form that day. I went home and wrote the following and, beyond the local paper in Aylesbury cos I was doing them a column, I have no idea what happened to it, although it nearly went in Classic Rock ,
I’m posting it to mark what is starting to be a busy time of Motorhead 50th anniversary activities.
